| Description: | AT-43 is Sci-Fi and exciting game. Fresh background and rules that make other tabletop game pale. Today, there are four armies available and each have 5 different platoon patterns (organizational differences) that can be built. UNA: Are the "basic" army in terms of flexibility, accurate long range army that can shoot the be-Jesus out of everyone, if allowed. Therians: Extreme powerful and technological advance race. Actually they are us, the original humans from earth that have developed highly that are no longer "humans". The main characteristics are a powerful infantry and armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) both in range and close combat although obviously not a horde army. Therians have a heavy dependence on routines - advance programs to improve performance. Red Blok - A low accuracy but heavy hitters army, the other "human" army is not the best selection for new players but strong if played correctly. In addition it's "cheaper" than all the other armies. Karmans - With the UNA and Red Blok, all the three are experiments of the Therians, and the Karmans evolved into philosophers warriors with a environmental approach but also kicking butt when necessary. Up to today, one of the most delicate and difficult armies to play with and, if played correctly, to play against. High rate of fire at different ranges, low amount of infantry and expensive. Two more armies are in the pipeline: the Cogs (LONG, heavy and high rate hitters, probably very few in numbers and expensive) and the ONI corporation. Few things are known except that it seems to be very flexible with possibility of UNA-Red Blok and Therians characteristics. One of the main criticisms is the PPP (pre-painted plastic): on this i will just say: There is nothing to prevent repaint and/or convert. it is as easy as with any other plastic minis.
